Yes, we work with clients outside Sweden

Most of our work with Swedish clients is already done remotely, so working with you from Dubai, Riyadh or Berlin changes nothing about how we operate. Meetings run on Google Meet, day-to-day questions go through WhatsApp or email, and designs and files are shared as links you can open from any device.

We are on Central European Time (CET), the same as Berlin and Paris. The Gulf and the Middle East are one to three hours ahead of us, so most of your working day overlaps with ours. We reply to every message within 24 hours on weekdays, in English, Arabic or Swedish.

A registered Swedish company as your counterparty

HejNord AB is a Swedish limited company (aktiebolag), registration number 559471-0047, registered with the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket) and governed by Swedish law. Our VAT number appears on every invoice, and you can verify the company in the Swedish register yourself.

Contracts are written in Swedish with an English (or Arabic) summary covering scope, price, timeline and ownership, so you know exactly what you are signing. At handover you own the code, the domain and every account. Nothing stays tied to us.

When you contact us you talk directly to the people who will build your project — in English or Arabic — not to a call centre or an account manager.

What we have built and run ourselves

The simplest way to evaluate a foreign vendor is to look at what it operates on its own account. These are our products, all live in Sweden:

• Utony — a food-delivery marketplace app for restaurants, home cooks, farm shops and cafés. Live on the App Store and Google Play.
• Köra — a marketplace app connecting young freelancers (15–25) with people who need help with everyday tasks. Live in both stores.
• Parko — a parking marketplace where private individuals rent out their parking spots.
• Stadstips — a free app collecting official police reports and local community information.
• Jobble.se — a free job-search app for the Swedish market.
• Min Umeå and Min Luleå — free citizen apps we built in React Native on the municipalities' open data, each gathering the city's municipal services, news and guides in one place.
• Client work includes Bokily.se, a booking platform for businesses, and Hemfy.se, a real-estate platform.

What we are good at

After around 8 years, 70+ clients and roughly 110 projects, these are the areas we know well:

• Marketplace platforms: two-sided supply and demand, payments and ratings. We have built three for ourselves.
• Mobile apps on iOS and Android, with payments where needed.
• Bilingual and right-to-left websites (Arabic with English or Swedish) with correct RTL layout and two-language menus.
• E-commerce and API integrations with business systems and payment providers.
• Everything Sweden-specific: Swish, BankID, GDPR and Swedish cookie rules, and the Swedish accessibility requirements (tillgänglighetsdirektivet, WCAG 2.2 AA).

What we are honest about

We have no office in the Gulf or anywhere else outside Sweden. Everything is remote. If you need a vendor on site every week, we are not the right fit.

On anything Swedish we are experts. On Gulf-specific design conventions, such as imagery, how prices are presented and what users there expect from an app, we learn from you and adapt rather than claim to know your market better than you do. If you need a local payment gateway in your country, we will tell you up front whether we have worked with it before.

Prices and payment terms

Our prices are the same for every client, in Sweden or abroad. They are quoted in Swedish kronor excluding VAT (moms). For clients outside Sweden we invoice in EUR or USD; whether VAT applies depends on your country and is stated clearly in the written quote.

• Start package — 4 990 SEK: up to 5 pages, responsive design, contact form, basic SEO and Google indexing, SSL, analytics and training so you can update the site yourself.
• Växa package — 24 900 SEK: up to 15 pages, custom design in your brand, technical SEO and structured data, blog section, booking form or quote flow, Core Web Vitals performance work.
• Plattform package — from 79 000 SEK: unlimited pages, UX flows and prototype, e-commerce or logged-in areas, integrations, design system, WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility, launch plan and full code ownership.
• Mobile app from 95 000 SEK; marketplace platform from 180 000 SEK; API integration from 12 000 SEK. All prices exclude VAT.
• Payment: 50% at project start and 50% at launch, 30-day terms. A fixed written quote before any work begins; any extra scope gets a written extra price first. No surprises on the final invoice.
